All the big manufacturers have had some new shit announced this week at E3. Starting withSony and the PS Vita. Now Nintendo is up and they have big news with the first major concole release since 2006. The Wii U is an upgrade from the first generation Wii. The controller is the big surprise about the new console. It has the motion gaming that the Wii is know for but now Nintendo has tapped into the tablet craze the Wii U controller has a 6.2 inch touch screen (not multi touch). A front facing camera, a mic, 2 joysticks, 2 shoulder buttons, 2 trigger buttons, a D pad, and the A,B, X,Y, buttons. It can be use for web browsing, video chatting, etc. This is gonna be a big deal (potentially) especially with the major 3rd party developers on board like EA… Which means MAdden and NCAA Football. They have some more pretty good titles so far but after the Madden and EA announce meant I drew a blank. The system sounds pretty dope. Look for a release date some time early next year. No word on the price either. Follow the link for mor in-depth breakdown.
